The former judge of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, Lejla Fazlagić Pašić, will soon return to Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo canceled the red warrant for her and imposed prohibitory measures on her.

More than eight years ago, the Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton began investigating a group of people led by Alija Delimustafić on suspicion of illegal real estate transactions. The trial based on the previously filed indictment started only recently and the proceedings were separated in relation to Judge Fazlagić Pašić, considering that she was unavailable in Bosnia and Herzegovina. prosecution authorities. At the time of the police operation, in which Delimustafić and others were arrested, she was already in Croatia, where she has remained until today, Klix.ba writes.

Like others, who were then arrested in a police operation, she was also ordered to be detained, but as it was not possible to implement it due to her hiding in Croatia, a red warrant was issued. Now that warrant has been revoked, as well as the decision on detention.

Namely, in November 2023, Fazlagić Pašić, through her lawyer Belma Balijagić Džuho, submitted a proposal to the Cantonal Court of the Canton of Sarajevo for the abolition of custody and the setting of bail, and in order to enable her free access to the court, where she wants to present her truth about what happened.

In May of this year, the court accepted her proposal for bail, and former judge Fazlagić Pašić will return to Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend the plea hearing.

As her lawyer Balijagić Džuho confirmed, now the former judge has been banned from leaving Sarajevo Canton. She also pointed out that the media reports that it is about house arrest are incorrect.

According to the current indictment, judge Fazlagić Pašić is accused of using her official position and making illegal judgments based on fictitious documents and forged documents. It is stated that this is how she enabled herself and close people from the indictment to come into possession of targeted real estate in the area of Sarajevo Canton.
