The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, announced today that the Council of Ministers will send the reform plan to the European Commission by Monday, April 29 at the latest, which is a prerequisite for withdrawing funds from the Instrument for Reforms and Growth of the Western Balkans.

“We had until today at noon and I dealt with it this morning and late last night. We will declare on Monday at the latest or maybe later today. Everything agreed will be sent to the European Commission through a consolidated report,” Kristo told reporters in Mostar.

She stated that they are still waiting for answers from the institutions of the Republika Srpska.

“I sent a letter to all the members of the ad hoc commission for the implementation of the new EU Growth Plan for the countries of the Western Balkans and warned them. The constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina is such that everyone has the right, when it comes to their competences, to express themselves and submit certain remarks.” , explained Kristo.

She expressed the hope that all actors of this process will be responsible and aware that the funds from the EU Growth Plan for the countries of the Western Balkans directly affect the life and economy of BiH.

The growth plan of the European Union for Bosnia and Herzegovina foresees one billion euros, Srna writes.
