The Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, today received a delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PSBiH), led by a member of the Joint Commission for Defense and Security, Kemal Ademović, accompanied by Željko Grubešić, Secretary of the Commission.
They discussed the possibilities of support that defense institutions can provide in the organization of the upcoming international “Rose Roth” seminar, which is hosted by PSBiH.
The interlocutors agreed on the types of support that the defense institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will use to support this seminar, and a contact person for future coordination was determined in front of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Helez emphasized that this is a serious meeting attended by parliamentarians of the NATO alliance, and that the MoBiH is ready to help in the organization of this activity.
“We are ready to organize this event in full capacity, without problems and to be at the same level as it was in other countries. This is also an opportunity for a meeting where we will discuss NATO’s path to Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Helez.
Ademović emphasized that this activity is unthinkable without the support of the BiH Ministry of Defense. Secretary Grubešić agreed with him, adding that the event will be marked by numerous panels of NATO officials and domestic politicians.
The participants of the meeting said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready to welcome NATO parliamentarians to the “Rose Roth” seminar.
It is a two-day seminar that begins on November 14, the Office for Public Relations of the MoBiH announced.
