The Sarajevo Canton Assembly at today’s session should make a decision on confirming the new convocation of the Sarajevo Canton Government.
Four new ministers have been proposed in the Canton Sarajevo Government, namely: Enis Hasanović for Minister of Health, Bojan Bošnjak for Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection, Adna Mesihović for Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth, and Afan Kalamujić for CS Minister of Finance.
The KS government will also consist of the previous ministers: Darja Softić Kadenić – Ministry of Justice and Administration, Adnan Šteta – Ministry of Transport, Enda Pavić Pečenković – Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees, Admir Katica – Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zlatko Mijatović – Ministry of Economy, Naida Hota-Muminović – Ministry of Education, Kenan Magoda – Ministry of Culture and Sports, and Omer Osmanović – Ministry of Veteran Affairs.
Nihad Uk remains the prime minister of Sarajevo Canton.
The agenda of the same session will also include reports on the work and financial operations for the year 2022 of public institutions in the field of health, labor and social protection, cultural institutions, and reports on the work of cantonal public utility companies for the past year.
The Assembly will also comment on the work of the CS Attorney’s Office and the Cantonal Institute for the provision of free legal aid, as well as the work of the Independent Board for the same period.
Reports on the work of the Committee for Public Complaints and the Public Enterprise “Televizija Kantona Sarajevo” and the Report on the Execution of the CS Budget for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2022 are also items on the agenda of this session.
The reporting part of the Assembly will end with a presentation of the results of the work of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of the Canton of Sarajevo, the level of implementation of the Gender Action Plan of the CS for the period from 2019 to 2022, and a Report on the implementation of the Return Plan to and from the CS for the period January 1 – December 31 in 2022.
