The signing of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between BiH and Turkey will happen soon

BiH Minister of Defence Zekerijah Osmić met with the Turkish military attaché, brigadier Mehmet Nail Yiğit.

Osmić thanked Yiğit for his visit, and expressed the satisfaction with the manner and intensity of engagement of military-diplomatic representatives in BiH, especially representatives of Turkey and their commitment and help to BiH in order for BiH to fulfil all the necessary preconditions for the activation of Membership Action Plan in NATO.

BiH Minister of Defence informed Yiğit that that BiH Council of Minister accepted the Draft agreement on cooperation in the field of military training between BiH Council of Ministers and Government of Turkey.

Military attaché thanked Osmić for the reception and informed him about his activities, which deal with cooperation in the field of defence and its intensification.

Yiğit expressed his hope that in 2013, all the necessary defence agreements will be signed and that the level of cooperation between two friendly countries will be improved even more.

They also talked about the visit of BiH Ministry of Defence to Turkey, where the signing of the aforementioned agreements would take place, and they talked about the visit of high military delegation of Turkey to BiH.
