The Sixth Sarajevo Ramadan Festival will start on May 5th at Yellow Fortress in Sarajevo Old Town.

The festival will be opened by the Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka by firing from the cannon, which will mark the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Sarajevo Ramadan Festival has been held for the sixth year on Yellow Fortress, and, traditionally, the cannon will indicate the time of the iftar – the stop of the fast that lasts from sunrise to sunset.

The Sarajevo Ramazan Festival is realized by the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation and the Promoted Business Area (ZUP) Bascarsija.
