On Sunday, at 5:53 p.m., the start of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan was announced with the firing of a cannon from Sarajevo’s Yellow Tabija in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
Traditionally, the celebration of the beginning of Ramadan attracted many tourists, but also citizens of Sarajevo, who filled the area on Yellow Fortress even on this day to welcome the beginning of the holy month for all Muslims in this way.
In the coming days, and more precisely, as long as Ramadan lasts, the Yellow Fortress will be a gathering place for many citizens who will follow with great interest the firing of the cannon that will mark the end of the daily fast, Klix.ba writes.
