The summer flight schedule at Tuzla International Airport was published on March 26th, and with it, the number of arrivals and departures of planes on a weekly basis increased.

“From tomorrow we have a line to Billund in Denmark again, and we have kept the rest of the destinations, with the fact that we have increased some from two to three or from three to four flights a week. Now we have about 100 operations a week, both arrivals and departures,” Tuzla International Airport director Dzevad Halilcevic stated yesterday.

“We have increased the number of departures for the most attractive destinations, namely to Memmingen, Malmo, Basel, Dortmund, and Vienna has remained at five departures per week. From the beginning of June until the beginning of September, we will have charter flights to Antalya. During the summer, we will probably have more new lines and we are negotiating about that. We currently have 16 destinations and all of them are in Western Europe,” Halilcevic added.

Namely, there are three major infrastructure projects underway at the Tuzla International Airport, the construction of the Atrium is nearing completion, the third gate is under construction and should be completed by the end of August, and the construction of the parking lot should begin soon.

“From the beginning of this year until March 27th, we transported 150.000 passengers, and our annual plan is 600.000. Also, the second half of January, February, and March are not so attractive months for travel,” concluded Halilcevic, Biznis Info reports.
