The Supervisory Board of the company Ginex, in the afternoon hours, nevertheless accepted the proposal of the company’s Management on increasing the hourly wage to 6.15 BAM, for a period of six months.

The workers had previously suspended production yesterday, after the Supervisory Board at a telephone session rejected the proposal of the Management on increasing the hourly wage in accordance with the request of the workers, but for a period of up to six months.

The proposal of the company’s Management was also that, in the meantime, the impacts on the company’s operations be reviewed and that new negotiations and harmonization be approached.

The workers waited for hours in front of the Management building for the newly arisen situation to be resolved.

Initially, it was said that the Supervisory Board was sticking to its earlier position, but that changed after numerous talks, among others, those of Mayor Ernest Imamovic, who, on this topic, also spoke with the Prime Minister of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), Nermin Niksic.
