The Ten biggest Music Tours of 2024

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s Eras tour is the biggest music event of the outgoing year, and in terms of financial results, the most successful in music history with a total of more than $ 2.2 billion in revenue, in 149 performances with a total of 10.3 million tickets sold, or almost 70 thousand spectators on average per concert.

The tour, which began on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, ended triumphantly a few days ago in Vancouver and was declared the largest and most profitable of both the previous and this year.

In 2024 alone, Swift earned $ 1.04 billion on the tour and set new standards in every respect, regardless of serious controversies about the (successful) use of modern technology to conceal the fact that all of these concerts were not completely “live”.

Taylor Swift had very strong support in the first part of the tour, because she was opened by Sabrina Carpenter, a famous actress and singer, who, however, made a huge breakthrough this year with the hit Espresso, so her solo tour at one point threatened to tarnish the fame of her more famous colleague.

However, Sabrina failed to break into the top 10 most successful in 2024 with her sexy provocations, so that list was filled mostly by musical “dinosaurs” such as Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, P!nk, Madonna, Metallica and the Rolling Stones.

The list of the top ten most successful by earnings only in 2024 looks like this:

Taylor Swift – $1.043 billion

Coldplay – $421.7 million

P!nk – $367.3 million

Luis Miguel – $261.5 million

Bruce Springsteen – $251.3 million

The Rolling Stones – $235 million

Bad Bunny – $210.9 million

Zach Bryan – $199.1 million

Metallica – $179.4 million

Madonna – $178.8 million
