Public enterprise Sarajevo d.o.o. sees off the year 2023 satisfied with visits, and the numbers show a trend of constant growth in the number of visitors, which confirms that Sarajevo is indeed a top tourist destination, it was said to Fena by Džena Zeničanin from the Marketing and Promotion Department of JP Sarajevo d.o.o..

Speaking about the Trebević cable car, she pointed out that the cable car is an attraction that almost every tourist visits on their travels and vacations.

“The fact that a visit to the Trebević cable car does not depend on the season is also interesting because we work and provide services all 365 days,” Zeničanin pointed out.

In addition to tourists, there are also permanent domestic guests who use every free moment to spend in the fresh air.

“When we look at the year 2023, ending on November 30, 2023, the cable car made 354,371 trips, which is about 15,000 trips more compared to the same period last year. If we look at the statistical analysis of visitors, 52 percent are foreign guests, and 48 percent are domestic visitors,” said Zeničanin.

She emphasized that an increase in the number of visitors is expected in December, as statistics show that almost all accommodation facilities are full for the New Year in Sarajevo.
