The U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo is conducting a joint security exercise with police and emergency response services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Embassy announced today.

The goal is to strengthen coordination and readiness to respond to emergencies.

Participants in the exercise include members of the Embassy’s security service, local police, fire departments, and emergency medical teams.

As they stated, the exercise involves practicing procedures for handling potential security threats and incidents.

“Such exercises confirm the strong partnership between the U.S. and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as our shared commitment to security. We thank our partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina for their professionalism, cooperation, and dedication to preserving the safety of all citizens,” the U.S. Embassy’s statement reads.
