The Ranger Regiment of the United Kingdom (UK) is conducting instructor training from August 18th to 22nd as part of support to regional partners, thereby emphasizing the UK‘s commitment to strong and effective state institutions, it was stated by the UKEmbassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

This capacity-building initiative, carried out within the framework of support from the UK Ministry of Defence and the UK Embassy Sarajevo, is aimed at strengthening the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) and the Special Support Unit of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

The training enabled the development of advanced instructor and leadership techniques, empowering specialized partners to train and to be professional and confident leaders.

This engagement is a clear indicator of the UK‘s lasting support for regional stability and its commitment to the development of capable security institutions that are ready to face and respond to growing challenges, it was stated in the announcement.
