‘The Wall’ was performed in 1993 at Kamerni Theatre 55, directed by Dino Mustafić, and now 20 years later, by young and talented director Zulfikar Filandra.
At a time when mankind believes that fascism was something that took place a long time ago and that fascists are ‘somewhere out there’, and that dying for one’s ideals is not possible (because ideals do not exist), it is very challenging to deal with Sartre’s story from 1939, and the conclusion is that until today the only advancement made is the technique of killing opponents.
