An employee of the “Pazarić” Institution for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth, who was found to have treated one of the residents inhumanely, was fired, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adnan Delić confirmed for BHRT.

Earlier, at a press conference on the current situation at the Pazarić Institution, Delić said that the Ministry demands disciplinary responsibility of the person who hits the ward and dismissal without notice because the Labor Law was grossly violated.

“In addition to the disciplinary action, which entails dismissal, we also demand criminal responsibility of the person. We filed a criminal complaint with the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, the FMUP, the Ministry of Interior of the CS and we demand the responsibility of all those involved in the abuse of the Institute’s residents,” said Minister Delić.

A few days ago, a video was published in which a worker of the institution can be seen hitting and insulting a young man, a resident of that institution.
