Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, met with Kuwaiti Princess Nawal Al-Sabah.

From the Presidency of BiH was noted that Princess Al-Sabah is paying a visit to BiH for several days with her delegation. The Princess informed Chairman Izetbegovic about the great interest of investment funds from Kuwait in investing in BiH, mainly in the sectors of infrastructure, telecommunications and energy.

Al-Sabah is leading the Royal Investment Company, and she is also the President of the Management Board of Arab-Egypt Investment Fund, the President of one of the commissions of the Arab League and the Ambassador of Peace of United Nations on behalf of the Royal International Academy.

A part of the Kuwaiti delegation visited Bihac, where they considered the possibility of investing in the construction of the airport. Moreover, Kuwaiti investors expressed great interest in numerous concrete projects, and they are planning to discuss them with representatives of relevant institutions in BiH in the following period.

Izetbegovic emphasized that BiH and Kuwait are friendly countries, and that their bilateral relations are on a very good level, but that there is space for additional improvement, especially when it comes to the field of economy. Izetbegovic introduced Princess Al-Sabah with the great potentials of BiH, and emphasized that it is in the mutual interest to further strengthen direct communication between investors from Kuwait and domestic institutions.

From the Presidency was also stated that Chairman Izetbegovic was invited to visit Kuwait.
