There is Hope to Resolve “Sejdić-Finci” Ruling

The Ambassador of Great Britain to BiH Nigel Casey said today that there is a chance that by the end of the month there is a chance that the “Sejdić-Finci” ruling could be implemented.

“It looks as if there is a good basis for resolving this issue by the end of the month, more specifically for three and a half weeks’’, said Casey. He added that this issue has long remained an open one, and that there has been a lot of work on it and he hopes it could finally be solved.

After today’s meeting with the British Ambassador, the leader of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Mladen Bosić said that what remains to be seen is whether the FBIH parties can find a common ground to solve this open issue.

‘’As much as we are informed, there exists significant progress and a real chance for them to come to an agreement’’, said Bosić to journalists in Banja Luka.

In this regard, he specified that SDS and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) would do anything to finally remove this issue from the agenda.

Bosić said that this would then allow for engaging in processes that involve the life of citizens-employment, economy, etc…
