This is the Country where you work the least, enjoy the most and live the longest

We all dream of a country where we will work less, earn more and live longer. Maybe this place seems like a dreamland, but official statistics say that there is one place on this planet of ours where people live well and long.

Parameters taken into account by Oxford University’s Quality of Life survey when ranking countries include the average number of working hours per week, the length of annual leave, the percentage of residents who have an undisturbed night’s sleep, life expectancy and respondents’ sense of happiness in each the country covered by the research.

Based on the given criteria, Luxembourg is at the top, among other things, thanks to the system in which employers reward employees with more annual leave the older they are. Thus, workers over the age of 55 in this country have an average of 36 days of paid annual leave.

Austria and Denmark, which rank second and third respectively, give workers a minimum of 25 days of paid vacation per year.

10 countries whose inhabitants apparently enjoy life the most:Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, France, Belarus, The Netherlands, Switzerland.

The United Kingdom (UK) ranks 17th thanks to a reasonable average working time of 36 hours per week, a relatively high life expectancy of 81.2 years, and more than half of respondents also reported getting an average of 7.5 hours of sleep per night, which is a good result. It is interesting that the United States (U.S.) ranks 87th place, among other things, because workers are not guaranteed paid vacation days at all, and part of the population is dissatisfied with the quality of sleep during the night.

On the other hand, China, Mexico and Malaysia are extremely poorly ranked, because in all three countries, an average of 46 hours is worked per week. Since working hours are significantly longer, you would expect employees to get more time off. However, this is not the case at all, because in China you get only 5 days of annual leave, in Mexico 6, and in Malaysia 8, N1 writes.
