Thomas Meyer in Sarajevo: Culture, Identity, Citizenship

thomas_meyerIn cooperation with the University of Sarajevo, the Goethe Institute in B&H will host famous political scientist Thomas Meyer on 13 and 14 November 2013. He will speak about culture, identity and citizenship at the Faculty of Philosophy and at the Faculty of Political Sciences with students, docents and with all those interested about the above mentioned topics.

The lecture will take place on 13 November at 18:00 at the Faculty of Political Science and on 14 November at 10:00 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. After the lecture, a questions and discussions session will take place.

Thomas Meyer is the author of numerous research studies and publications on the theory of democracy, political identity and European identity, cultural-religious pluralism and citizenship, political communication, political-religious fundamentalism, as well as history and the theory of social democracy.
