Tinjić and Herdželaš in Semifinals of ITF Tournament in Helsingborg

Dea_HerdzelasThe B&H tennis players Jasmina Tinjić (263 on WTA list) and Dea Herdželaš (772 on WTA list) advanced to the semifinals of the ITF Tournamnet in Helsingborg, Sweden.

In the third round of a tournament that is worth 10.000 dollars, Jasmina Tinjić beat Sussane Celik from Sweden, the fifth-seed and 452nd player on the WTA list with 5:7, 6:3, 6:4. Dea Herdželaš from Sarajevo beat Lisanne Van Riet from the Netherlands (433rd on WTA list) with 7:6, 5:7, 6:4.

In the matches to determine advancement to the finals, Tinjić will play against Karen Barbat from Denmark (604th on WTA list), while Herdželaš will play against the first-seed Rebecca Peterson from Sweden (253rd on WTA list).

In doubles, Tinjić is paired with Olga Lanchuk from the Ukraine and they have placed into the finals, and they will play against the Swedish-Dutch pair Cornelia Lister/Lisanne Van Riet for the title.
