Tonight First PechaKucha Night at the Art Cinema Kriterion

JUS_Bagat_RuzaStep_DThe third day of SOS Design Festival will contain a rich program with lectures held by Croatian Studio Group, Tamer Nakisci from Turkey, Yuko Shimizu and Francis Di Tomasso from the United States, and after tonight’s workshop is the first PechaKucha Night at the Art Cinema Kriterion at 20:30.

At the first evening, an interesting 20×20 format with (20 slides, 20 seconds each) will be presented Dženat Dreković, Anida Kapo, Muris Halilović, Maja Matašin & Senad Patković, Bor Dizdar, Demir Mensur, Irma Ibrić and Ljubomir Todorovic. Last night at the gallery Java was presented the exhibition “The Yugoslav standard JUS” of Darko and Marko Miladinović from Armada study from Slovenia.


The star of the festival is the Japanese illustrator Yuko Shimizu who comes from U.S and will have another lecture. The work of this illustrator, we could already see at The Gap T-shirts, Pepsi cans, and other DC comic book covers, as well as in the pages of the New York Times, TIME, New Yorker, GQ and Esquire.
