Everything is ready for a spectacular Public New Year’s Eve in Sarajevo, with great entertainment and concerts for all generations.

The city, which shines in its festive attire and proudly bears the title of the most desirable tourist destination in 2025, guarantees good fun with hits from popular musicians from the domestic, regional and world scene!

The New Year’s magic already began last night in front of the Eternal Flame with performances by Sara Jo, DJ Topic and the DJ duo After Affair.

Tonight, with a great spectacle in front of the Eternal Flame, citizens and tourists can enjoy the following program:

– 19:30 – 20:15h broadcast of the first part of the traditional New Year’s concert of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra on the largest LED screens so far along Titova Street.

Visitors will be able to watch and listen to the entire concert on the LED screen in front of the National Theater, which, thanks to the City of Sarajevo, is luxuriously illuminated.

21:00 – 21:10 – Laser show, the first of its kind at a public reception in Titova Street

21:15 – 23:10 Adi Soše

23:15 – 23:59 – Severina

23:59 – 00:09h – countdown to the New Year, congratulations and address of the mayor of Sarajevo, Predrag Puharić

00:10 – 01:45 Severina

02:00h – end of the program

Tonight, all entrances will be open from 19: 10 o’clock

Minor deviations in the planned hourly rates are possible for objective reasons.

The organizer secured entrances at the Vječna vatra location, ul. Maršala Tita to Radićeva Street from five directions: to M.Tita Street for guests and the public from the direction of TC “Aria” (intersection of M.Tita – Radićeva Street), from the direction of Pruščakova, Šenoina, Kulovića and Dalmatinska Streets.

KDZ inspections last from 16:00 to 19:00. At that time, Titova Street will be completely closed to vehicles and pedestrians from Vječna vatre to the junction with Radićeva. Citizens are asked to use alternative routes of movement that will be directed by officials.

For the first time, the organizer has provided space for people with disabilities who come to the event from the direction of Mula Mustafa Bašeskije – Maršala Tita Street

Five emergency teams will be available to citizens tonight, December 31.

A sufficient number of mobile toilets for visitors have also been provided, which will be adequately marked.

In addition, free public transport is provided before and after the end of the Public New Year’s Eve (for 30 and 31 December 2024), so citizens are asked to use these benefits in order to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

It is not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages, pyrotechnics, glass bottles and cans, as well as all other items that are prohibited at public gatherings, to the event location. The organizer is not responsible for items that are not allowed to be brought in.

It is strictly forbidden to use drones without the consent of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

The City of Sarajevo traditionally organizes the New Year’s Eve outdoors with the support of the Sarajevo Canton, city municipalities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton and the general sponsor NLB Bank.

“We appeal to all visitors to arrive on time for the public reception, as detailed security checks will be carried out at the entrances. This is in the interest of all visitors who should feel completely comfortable and safe.

We wish all citizens and our dear guests a good time and a happy and successful New Year 2025!” – the City of Sarajevo said in a statement.
