A newly built transformer station “Gradiška dva” was opened yesterday in Luzani near Gradiska, whose construction costs were around 4.5 million BAM.

Transformer station with 110 kilovolts power has been released by the Director General of “Elektroprenos BiH” –  Mate Zaric, and the Mayor of Municipality Gradiska – Zoran Adzic.

Adzic pointed out that the newly built transformer station “Gradiska dva” is very important for supplying electricity to consumers in the Potkozarje area and for the unloading of “Nova Topola” and “Gradiska jedan” substations.

“The great importance of this substation is for the future border crossing, customs terminal and bridge on the Sava River, but also for the future industrial zone of Liman, “ Adzic said.

Zaric said the transformer station was built by companies from Republika Srpska within a year, within the ten-year plan of “Elektroprenos BiH”, due to an increase in the number of consumers in this area.
