TrebaDH downhill race will welcome dozens of competitors who will show their skills on two wheels in the downhill on Trebevic.
Training for all competitors who applied is on Saturday, while the official competition will be held one day later, on Sunday, September 13th. The qualifications and the final ride are to be held from 12 a.m. The organizers provided parking lots near the end line, and the camp for the sponsors and competitors will be situated just across the street.
Savages Crew, in cooperation with its sponsors, provided valuable prizes for the winners.
Following are the rules during TrebaDH:
The race is on the chronometer, the competitors start every two minutes, whereby the competitor must give way to the other competitor who catches up with him, otherwise the competitor is disqualified.
All competitors must wear a full-face helmet and own a proper bicycle. The use of other protection equipment is not mandatory, but it is more than desirable.
A license is not requested for the race, and all competitors ride on their own responsibility.
Prizes for the final placement are:
1st place: 500 BAM (250 EUR)
2nd place: 300 BAM (150 EUR)
3rd place: 100 BAM (50 EUR)
Valuable commodity prizes are expecting juniors and seniors in the first three places. The total prize fund exceeds 1.500 BAM.
Transportation from the end line to the start, Mountain Rescue Service (GSS), as well as emergency medical help in case of falls, are provided for the competitors during the training and the race.
