US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced last night that he has agreed with Fox News on a TV debate on September 4 with Kamala Harris, US Vice President and expected Democratic candidate for US President.
“I have made arrangements with Fox News to have a debate with Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social social network.
Kamala Harris’s reaction to it is not yet known.
Last night, Jaime Harrison, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee and the campaign staff of Kamala Harris announced that the US vice president secured a sufficient number of delegate votes for the Democratic candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections.
Delegates voted online for the party’s presidential candidate and voting has not yet ended.
She announced that she will officially accept the nomination next week when the virtual filing ends, becoming the first African-American and Asian woman to run for president.
Kamala Harris appeared as a possible democratic candidate in the November presidential elections after the current president Joe Biden withdrew from the election race.
