Trump called Migrants who stay illegally in the US “Animals”

Former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump called illegal immigrants in the United States “animals”.

Trump said this on Tuesday at a campaign rally in Michigan, commenting on the murder of student Laken Riley (22), who was allegedly killed by an immigrant from Venezuela who was in the US illegally.

“Democrats say, ‘Please don’t call them animals. They’re people.’ I say no, they’re not people. They’re not people. They’re animals,” Trump said.

The former president accused President Joe Biden of allowing “bloodshed” on the US-Mexico border, which he said is “destroying the country.”

He repeated his promise to carry out the biggest deportation of illegal migrants if he is re-elected.

The killing of a college student in February sparked anti-immigrant anger within anti-immigrant groups.

Trump often claims, without evidence, that migrants are to blame for the spike in violence in American cities, AA writes.
