United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump stated that he doesn’t know whether his close relationship with Elon Musk will continue, saying he is “very disappointed” by the criticism the tycoon directed at his tax law.
“I’ve always liked Elon… You saw what he said about me… He didn’t say anything bad about me. I’d rather he criticize me than the law because the law is incredible,” said Trump.
“Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we’ll have it anymore,” he added.
Earlier this week, Musk sharply criticized Trump’s tax and spending law on the X network, saying:
“I’m sorry, but I simply can’t take it anymore… This massive, disgraceful spending bill full of unnecessary expenses from Congress is a disgusting monstrosity. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
