The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, opened the first session of the Peace Committee, which was joined by more than 40 countries, noting that their goal is simple – peace, which is easy to say but difficult to achieve.
Trump recalled the previously resolved conflicts, and again mentioned Kosovo and Serbia, and told the leaders to try to solve the problems themselves, and if they fail, to invite him. The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, attended the session and responded with a gesture that she would invite him if necessary, reports Kosovo online.
He especially greeted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, expressing his support for the upcoming elections, and announced close cooperation with the United Nations.
Trump pointed out that the Peace Committee is the most important body in terms of power and prestige, stressing that war costs a hundred times more than peace and that he is not looking for a Nobel Prize, but concrete solutions.
He praised the financial support from the countries of the Middle East and Central Asia, totaling over seven billion dollars, and announced a visit to China and a good relationship with President Xi Jinping.
