The Tunnel of Salvation: Marking of the 21st Anniversary

Foto Fena: Emir Burlovic /The memorial fund of the Sarajevo Canton is doing a series of activities regarding the 21st anniversary of the digging of the Tunnel D-B.

According to the Fund, one of those activities is the “Open day of the Commemoration complex of the Tunnel D-B” for the primary schools from the territory of Canton Sarajevo.  The marking of this activity will be held from 13 to 15 May.

The memorial fund gave a free visit to the 9th grade of primary schools. That visit will include watching a movie and a visit to the permanent museum exhibition, thematic exhibition on the gallery, the passing through the authentic tunnel and an hour of a history lecture.

The new event this year is the lecture about the dangers of mines and unexploded ordnance which are held by the members of the Fund, who are educated in that sphere.

According to the Memorial fund of the Canton Sarajevo, on Friday, 28 March, the Commemoration complex Tunnel D-B will be visited by the students of the final grades from the territory of Vogošća municipality.
