Turkey’s competition authority has fined Google 2.61 billion lira ($75 million) for abusing its dominant position in the advertising market, the regulator said.
The antitrust authority said Google favored its own server service over rivals, making it more difficult for competitors to operate.
Google must ensure that competitors are in a favorable position and provide third parties with similar conditions to those applied to its own services within six months, the statement said, Srna writes.
