Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised to donate 30,000 coronavirus vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The donation is part of an agreement reached by members of the BiH Presidency with the Turkish leader at today’s meeting in Ankara.

The news was announced at a press conference after the meeting. Dodik thanked President Erdogan and said that Turkey helped everyone in BiH during the 2014 floods, and BiH is grateful for that.

”Highway construction – There are great expectations for BiH. The parties regarding the support for the construction of the Sarajevo-Belgrade highway and all those who doubted that can now be sure that the project will be realized and it is necessary for all of us to make efforts to implement it,” Dodik underlined.

A trilateral meeting has been agreed

He also said that a trilateral meeting had been agreed between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Turkey, but that Russia should join in, bearing in mind that this would contribute to further stabilization of relations.

The members of the Presidency of BiH started their official visit to Turkey today, as part of which they will discuss infrastructure projects and cooperation between the two countries, Avaz writes.
