poljoradThe “Poljorad” company from Travnik is a company producing milk products and products of vegetable origin, founded in 1990 as a small family business. Today this company employs 50 workers and more than 1 200 subcontractors from all around B&H.

“It’s not hard to get an idea. The difficulties lie in finding the initial capital to launch or spread the business. The Turkish line and the BBI bank helped as a lot because we got funds at a very favourable rate. The Turkish loan is a chance we used in the best possible way and now we are the leading company in this area” – said Vahid Skrobo, the director of Poljorad.

The “Dimko” cheese was at first produced with 50 litres of milk while today they are refining around 20 000 litres.

“I am proud of the fact that everyone employed has salaries and contributions on time. Besides those who work here we cooperate with more than 1 200 subcontractors from who we buy goat and cow milk and cabbage to make sauerkraut. Everything we buy is of high quality and so are our products too.” – said Skrobo.

The Bosnian “Poljorad” products made below the slope Vlašić can be found in all big commercial chains in B&H and the region but are exported to USA and Australia too.

“All of this was possible thanks to the BBI bank which recognized our efforts and made possible for us to spread out business and continue to work successfully.”- concluded Skrobo.
