Tuzla International Airport wikimedia.orgReconstruction of the runway at the International Airport Tuzla is in its final stage, and installation of approach lights will be completed in the next seven days.

This will allow much easier landing of airplanes, particularly in low visibility conditions. However, this is just one of many novelties on the Tuzla Airport.

The first flight to Berlin is planned for the 17th of December, at the price of 59.99 BAM. This will be the eleventh destination from the International Airport Tuzla. Five more airlines are planned as well: Bratislava (Slovakia), Cologne (Germany), Friedrichshafen and Nuremberg (Germany) and Växjö (Sweden).

Airlines to London Luton (United Kingdom), Basel (Switzerland), Billund (Denmark), Dortmund, Frankfurt Hahn and Memmingen (Germany), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm (Sweden) were previously established.

According to director Karasalihovic, this year’s plan of 305,000 passengers will be met, and in the following year is expected that the Tuzla International Airport will serve half a million passengers, after the capacity expansion.

When it comes to prices, you can go to London, specifically Luton, and the Danish Billund for 29.99 BAM, to Basel, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Eindhoven for 99.99 BAM, to Memmingen near Munich and Sweden’s Malmo for 79.99 BAM, Gothenburg for 139.99 BAM…

Enver Jukanovic, Executive Director of Marketing and Development at the International Airport Tuzla, confirmed that Wizz Air has already announced a competition for 40 new employees, and they are planning to hire 20 people more.
