We are counting down the last hours of this hot April weather. Today, a sudden change in the weather is coming, bringing rain, showers locally followed by thunder, and a noticeable drop in temperatures, which will bring us into a longer period of fresher and more unstable weather.

According to the forecasts of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, today in the first part of the day in BiH it will be sunny with low to moderate cloud cover and the south will cause higher air temperatures.

“From the middle of the day, the weather will gradually deteriorate from the northwest, which will cause cooling and by the end of the day will spread to the whole country. In Bosnia, it will first rain in the lowlands, which may change to sleet or snow in the evening and during the night on Wednesday, and in the higher elevations it will only snow in Herzegovina, and it will snow in the mountains. In the second part of the day, the wind will gradually change its direction. The highest air temperature will be between 23 and 28°C. with the arrival of precipitation in decline”, they state from FHMZ.

Moderate cloud cover in Sarajevo for most of the day. Stronger clouds and rain are expected in the evening. On Wednesday night, sleet may also fall. The highest daily air temperature is around 25°C.

As stated on the website BHMeteo.ba, we are expecting additional weather deterioration on Wednesday.

“Cool and fresh, more autumn weather with rain and snow in hilly and mountainous areas. Over 10 cm of snow can fall on the higher mountains of western and central Bosnia. And the approximate amount of precipitation in many areas is from 10 to 30 l/m2, locally up to 50 l/m2”, according to the BHMeteo.ba forecast.

It remains unstable and fresh for days after Wednesday. FHMZ has issued an orange warning for today due to strong winds that will reach 80 km/h, Klix.ba reports.
