trotoarAfter several months long renovation of sidewalk in front of the Presidency of BiH, for Wednesday is scheduled the ceremonial tour on the occasion of completion of works, and citizens of BiH used the opportunity to mock this ceremony all over social networks.

Representatives of the Presidency of BiH, the Mayor of Municipality Centar Nedzad Ajnadzic and representatives of the Directorate for Roads of Canton Sarajevo Adnan Alikadic and Fahrudin Djedovic will organize a working tour on Wednesday.

It did not take too long for Twitter users to mock the announcement of “the official opening of the sidewalk” and one of the comments was that it seems like they scheduled the official opening of a nuclear power plant.

Some of the best tweets:

“What do you want more?! We are formally opening the sidewalk. Dream country!”

A representative of the DF in the Parliament of FBiH, Dzenan Djonlagic, asked if this is one of the capital projects of the Reform Agenda.

“It’s good until they start to officially open manholes.”

“I think that all of you are actually jealous of the Presidential sidewalk. We should go to celebrate.”

“I’m just asking you to bear in mind that the sidewalk is in the Municipality Centar. It’s like the airport in some other municipality.”

“The EU Delegation welcomed the opening of the sidewalk in front of the Presidency of BiH and expressed their hope that on steps on the European path will be made on it.”

“Good, better, sidewalk.”

“We are finally sending the world some better message from Sarajevo: The war is over, we are making new sidewalks!”

“Dodik on the sidewalk topic be like: „Sidewalk in front of the state institutions is clear attack on the RS! We will not recognize this sidewalk, which is clearly imposed by Bosniak people.“
