Two Day Plenary Session of the Constitutional Court begins Today

The two-day Plenary Session of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins today, starting at 9:30 a.m.

On the agenda, among other things, is the request of Denis Bećirović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and fourteen members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the review of the constitutionality of the Conclusions regarding the Information regarding the Decision of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the termination of the mandate of the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, which was adopted by the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska at its 24th special session on 22 August.

The request of Ivan Begić for the review of the constitutionality of the Decision on the Call and Holding of Early Elections for the President of the Republika Srpska will also be considered.

Also on the agenda are the requests of four delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, eleven members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and eleven other members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who requested a review of the constitutionality, or rather, the determination of the dispute between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entity of Republika Srpska, regarding the adoption of: the Decision on the Election of the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska; the Decision on the Election of the Members of the Government of the RS; the Decision on the Early Entry into Force of the Decision on the Election of the Prime Minister of the RS and the Decision on the Early Entry into Force of the Decision on the Election of the Members of the Government of the RS.

The two-day plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also consider the request of the Trade Union of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs and the Trade Union of the State Investigation and Protection Agency for a review of the constitutionality of Article 7, paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as published on the official website of that court.
