The draft law on the state property of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been submitted to the official procedure of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The proposal was submitted by the member of the Presidency Denis Bećirović and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić.

The cabinet of the proposer said that the preparation of this law had been worked on for more than six months, that an expert team had worked on it, taking care that the policy was carried out within the framework of the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Rules of Procedure for the work of state bodies.

“According to Article 8 of the proposed law on state property, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the holder of the right of ownership of all state property. Entities and other levels of government in BiH can use and manage the state property they need to exercise their individual competences to the extent that they are authorized by this law or any other law passed by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH”, said Bećirović.
