In Mostar on Monday, two migrants attacked a bus driver and injured him with a knife.
As stated in the press release of the Ministry of the Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (MUP HNK), the attack took place at 18:15 at the bus stop on Trg I. Krndelja.
“On the spot, the police officers find the bus driver S.B. (1974) who had a visible injury in the area of his right leg. He stated that two migrants entered the bus and when he told them to get off the bus, one of them took out a wallet from his pocket and injured him in the leg area. After that, they run away in the direction of M. Balorde Street,” the MUP announced.
By conducting operational work, police officers found people matching the description of the perpetrators in the courtyard of the mosque. It’s about M.C. (1996) and R.B. (1993), where a folding knife was found.
The duo was detained and will be subject to criminal investigation, and the prosecutor has been informed about everything.
