Two People killed in a Storm that hit Montenegro

A strong storm accompanied by heavy rainfall and wind hit Montenegro. Two people were killed. Strong winds caused major material damage in several cities. On the coast, beach furniture was demolished, and several cars destroyed by fallen trees.

A Turkish citizen died at a construction site in Čanj during a severe storm that hit Montenegro.

As “Vijesti” reports, the worker was in the crane, which collapsed during hurricane force winds.

Also, a person of D.P. initials died on the construction site of the golf course in Luštica. Police officers from the Tivat Security Department are at the scene, who are investigating.

Around 10 o’clock Tivat was hit by a big storm, which caused heavy rainfall, wind and thunder.

The Primorski portal reports that the wind uprooted parts of trees in Bar and that cars were damaged. It is said that several vessels in the marina were also damaged due to the storm.

In addition, the storm toppled three cranes in the port and broke transshipment bridges.

A boat with two foreign citizens overturned in Lake Skadar, but with the quick intervention of NP officials, those persons were saved, RTCG Portal was told from the National Parks of Montenegro.
