Working to clarify and document the murder of a migrant that happened on Tuesday in the afternoon in Ilidža municipality, officers of the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton determined through an investigation that it was a person with the initials Y.N. from Afghanistan.

Members of the Police Department of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, today in the late afternoon in Dariva, Stari Grad municipality, located and placed the suspect under control.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the crime of murder, 20-year-old T.M. was deprived of his liberty and 19-year-old A.M., both citizens of Afghanistan, who were handed over to the Premises for Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.

Police officers are intensively searching for the third person who is linked to the commission of that criminal act, and it is Amir Tuataha, born in 2002, also a citizen of Afghanistan.

Anyone who has any information about the wanted person is asked to call 122, 033/206-666, 033/207-777 or the nearest police station, the KS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
