Two More Trucks with Aid Started From Antwerpen

humanitarian aidYesterday night, two more trucks with aid started from Antwerpen.  The aid will be sent to the endangered population who live on the areas affected by floods and landslides in BiH.

The aid was sent successfully  due to the cooperation of IKC “Gazi Husrev-beg” with the Turkish Union (“Unie van Turkse Verenigingen”) and the World Organisation for Help (“Wereld Missie Hulp”) in Belgium.

The reception held was attended by the by the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic and Consul of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemalettin Eruygur.

After the press conference, guests were able to try traditional Bosnian specialties prepared by our hardworking Bosnian women.

The aid was sent to “Merhamet” Tuzla, and from there will be distributed to the most endangered areas. In total 32 tons of aid was sent.
