About the matches with Northern Macedonia, head coach Nermin Šabić said:
“These checks have helped us to see what we have at our disposal at the moment. We were missing a few players, but several of them were presented well, so we can count on them in the future. We played the second match better than the first one, at one point we had a positive result. However, after the substitutions, we were shown to be physically inferior to the opponent and we were defeated at the end. We may have deserved more today, but, in any case, there is more work to do and we will continue to build the team.”
In the first match played two days ago, the Macedonians won 3:1.
