The U-17 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also in the second friendly match with Northern Macedonia, was defeated in Ljubuški, this time with 2:3.

Guests came to advantage in the 3rd minute. Dashmir Elezi made a pass from the right and passed the ball, ten meters far from the BH goal, to Georg Stojanovski that is precise for 0:1.

In the 48th minute, Haris Hasanović took the ball of the opponents, went on the left into the penalty area of the opponent and sent the ball to five-meter area for Aleksandar Kahvić, who equalled the result.

Kahvić scored the second goal for B&H in the 67th minute. After a long pass from half of the BH team, our striker reached the ball at the edge of the penalty area, before the goalkeeper Vasko Vasilev, and sent the ball by head into the net for 2:1.

In the 79th minute, Borjan Popovski passed the ball into the penalty area to Besar Gudjufi who sent it from ten meters behind the back of Sergej Bjelica and evened the result.

Gudjufi turned the score in favour of Northern Macedonia by a head shot in the 85th minute, after a centring of Mateo Sofijanoski from a free kick on the right.

About the matches with Northern Macedonia, head coach Nermin Šabić said:

“These checks have helped us to see what we have at our disposal at the moment. We were missing a few players, but several of them were presented well, so we can count on them in the future. We played the second match better than the first one, at one point we had a positive result. However, after the substitutions, we were shown to be physically inferior to the opponent and we were defeated at the end. We may have deserved more today, but, in any case, there is more work to do and we will continue to build the team.”

In the first match played two days ago, the Macedonians won 3:1.
