The U-21 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated today in the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica the U-21 team of Wales with 1:0, in the match of qualifications for the European Championship.

Đani Salčin had the first opportunity in the 6th minute, but his shot from the edge of the penalty area went just above the crossbar.

The next chance was waited until the 22nd minute. Zinedin Mustedanagić excellently passed to Jovo Lukić, who frees himself from the guard and went out alone in front of the opponent’s goalkeeper, who defends his shot from ten meters.

Vladimir Bradonjić also had a good attempt from a distance in the 33rd minute, but the ball bounced off the opponent’s player into the corner.

Ševkija Resić had the first attempt in the second half in the 57th minute, but he was not precise from twenty meters.

The BH team gained the advantage in the 74th minute. Rijad Sadiku from the right side sent the ball into the penalty area of Wales, where Ševkija Resić managed best and scored for 1:0.

By the end of the match, the result did not change. The BH team continues its qualifications on 8th September in Moldova.
