In the first eight months of this year, Bosnia and Herzegovina exported weapons and ammunition worth 107.5 million BAM. These data show that the crisis with the coronavirus has not hindered this industry in our country so far.
According to the data of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, the largest value of exports was realized to Egypt, in the value of 31.5 million BAM. In second place is Saudi Arabia, to which we exported weapons and ammunition worth 21.2 million this year.
They are followed by Turkey, the United States, Switzerland, Kuwait, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iraq and Serbia. On the other hand, the value of imports of weapons and ammunition in the eight months of this year amounted to only about 7.3 million BAM, Avaz news portal reports.
