Ukraine has Evidence of Russia’s Intentions to start a War between the Balkan Countries

Ukraine has evidence of Russia’s intentions to start a war between the Balkan countries, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a comment to African media on November 15, reports The New Voice of Ukraine. In addition, Zelensky claims that Russia and its ally Iran are behind the events in Israel, namely the Hamas attack on October 7.

“Pay attention to the Balkans. Believe me, we are getting information. Russia has a long-term plan. (First we had) the Middle East — the second distraction will be the Balkans,” Zelensky said and warned of new possible challenges to follow.

“If our partners do nothing now, there will be a new explosion and it will be a new story. Their (Balkan countries) relations have been in crisis for a long time. That is why Russia will invest in one Balkan country being at war with another.”

He also mentioned Moldova, where he said the Russians are “starting to stir up the situation” and are interested in “overthrow” the current pro-European government. Moscow wants the world’s aid and attention to be distributed among many countries, Zelensky said.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Russia is considering several scenarios for its war against Ukraine. At the third summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Granada, Spain, on October 5, he said that one of those scenarios was a freeze on war and a restoration of its military potential, with 2028 potentially becoming the year of the critical moment.

“Russia will then have enough power to attack the countries that are the focus of its expansion. Apart from Ukraine, these are definitely the Baltic states and countries where Russian troops are present,” Zelensky said.
