The Director-General of the Agency of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Irina Bokova informed Adil Osmanovic, Minister for Civil Equality of BiH and President of the National Commission for UNESCO to accept sponsorship of the 33rd International Festival “Sarajevo Winter” 2017.
“I’m glad that I can say that this event is consistent with the efforts of the Organization to promote the culture and linguistic diversity through art. Moreover, I am convinced that it will contribute to raising awareness about the importance of creating friendly environment for intercultural dialogue. Therefore, with pleasure, I accept for UNESCO to be the sponsor of this event – said Bokova.
