The battles of the warriors, the performance of the court fool, as well as the king and queen revived the medieval period at the fortress in Jajce as part of an event that gathers a large number of visitors every year.
“Days of the Middle Ages” is the name of the event that must be visited in Jajce, which was held this weekend at the fortress where everyone present could enjoy the planned entertainment scenario through which the way of fighting, entertainment, and functioning of the kingdom was shown.
“Great event for both children and adults. A manifestation with a handful of organized events and activities, so a few hours spent at the fortress will pass in the blink of an eye,” it was stated from the Tourist Board of the Central Bosnia Canton (CBC).
Also, they added that cell phones in children’s hands were a rarity and were mostly used to photograph everything that could be seen.
“We were especially enchanted by the kindness and friendliness, mostly the patience of the ‘knights’ and the ‘auxiliary retinue’ as well as all those who participated in the organization,” added the CBC Tourist Board.
The program began with a ceremonial parade of historical troops followed by the line-up and coronation of the king. Ragnar Stipe Flick Karvuson held an ax-throwing workshop, as well as other events, such as traditional tattooing, archery and fencing workshops for children and adults, a sword-forging workshop, as well as an entertainment program, and a fire show.
This unique event was organized by the Public Utility Agencija Jajce, Klix.ba writes.
