Ten people, including the attacker, were killed in the attack at the school in Graz. At least 30 people were wounded and sent for treatment, of which at least seven are in critical condition.

Austrian media reports that the attacker is a 21-year-old Austrian, a former student of the school. The motive of the attack is not known, and the attacker was previously unknown to the police.

According to so far unofficial information, he legally possessed weapons – a rifle and a pistol.

Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker said that the shooting at the school in Graz was a national tragedy that deeply shook the entire country.

The school will remain closed until further notice, and starting tomorrow there will be three days of mourning in Austria.
