US and Ukraine agree on 22 concrete Measures to end War with Russia

US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, said the US and Ukraine have reached an agreement on 22 specific action plans aimed at ending the war with Russia.

Kellogg spoke to Fox News about the peace talks held last week in London, which were attended by representatives of the US, Ukraine, and the E3 countries (Great Britain, France and Germany).

“We agreed on 22 very specific measures after open, honest and difficult talks with the Ukrainians. We believe we are in a very good position now,” Kellogg said.

He admitted that Ukrainian officials did not like all the proposed measures, but that this is “normal when you have any negotiations.”

“When you look at everything that the Ukrainians are willing to do, now it’s Russia’s turn, Putin’s turn. We have one side. Now we need another. I think we are close,” he added.

Kellogg criticized the three-day ceasefire declared by Russia earlier this month as absurd, and echoed Trump’s call for a permanent and comprehensive cessation of hostilities.

He argued that Russia had not made any significant military gains, saying:

“Russia has not made any major advances in the last year and a half. They have not taken the capital Kiev, they have not crossed west of the Dnieper River, which is a huge obstacle, they have not taken Odessa. They have lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers, and they have not moved the lines.”

“The Ukrainians are fighting on their own land. They are fighting fiercely,” he said.

He also mentioned growing European support for Ukraine, saying that a new resilience force led by Britain and France, without American troops, was being planned, AA writes.
