The Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Sarajevo announced today’s visit of the NATO delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized that, like the USA, NATO will not allow the hard-earned peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be jeopardized.

“NATO is committed to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and multi-ethnic characteristics of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said the Embassy.

The Embassy further says that the visit of the North Atlantic Council shows NATO’s commitment to supporting the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the reform that is necessary for the integration of BiH into the Euro-Atlantic institutions.

“It also highlights the important work that allies are doing to strengthen the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including crisis management, cyber security and counter-terrorism capabilities. This partnership will make Bosnia and Herzegovina safer, benefiting all citizens,” the US Embassy emphasized.
